Yup, that’s right folks. I’ve finally got my drivers license last weekend. Took a couple tries when I should have gotten it on my first try, but some dumb skateboarder made sure that I didn’t.
Nevertheless, it’s nice that I have now. I know most guys get theirs during high school or college, but quite frankly, I just wasn’t interested in driving or cars in general. Nor paying for insurance, maintenance, and gas for a vehicle either. Public transit was the way to go for me, environmentally better too.
One of the challenging things I find for myself when driving is the temptation to look out the side window. If I had a choice, I’d rather be a passenger. I just like starting out the side window. But I’m a whole lot better now.
So yeah, I don’t find this too exciting or anything. But I know it’ll come pretty handy this winter. I now can go snowboarding more often…once I get a vehicle.
Congrats! Yes it’s about bloody time you passed that road test.
I failed on my first try as well. But it’s a good lesson in life. When you fail, get back up and try again.

Dude…I would’ve gotten it the first time, but some idiot skateboarder ran against the do not walk signal. I didn’t really see him at the end because I was trying to clear the yellow.
It’s getting late in the year to buy a new car. I’m gonna wait till next year. Maybe save up enough for the Evo X. In the meanwhile, just drive my parent’s cavalier during the winter to go snowboarding.
