Hello Tina.

It's quite simple. It's just a math formula. All it comes down to is your number, with the formula, ending up to be a multiple number of 9. And it's also flash. Choose the number 9 each time...look at the other symbols that are multiples of 9...so 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81. They're all the same symbol.

They add in all those other ones to confuse you, and the change it up to string you along with the illusion.

<a href="http://www.nicksimonsen.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/math-forumla.jpg" rel="nofollow">Click here to see what I mean...</a>

Give vista a spin when you get the chance, I've been running it the past week at work and no issues so far. Mind you, no gaming either so we'll see how that one goes.

lol.

Sorry, totally slipped my mind. I'd like to thank Chris for helping me save $1000 by suggesting to swap out the hard drive instead of buying a new laptop.

Everything is back up now. I'm sticking with XP until the very last minute.

What? No credit for the memx tip? Nick, that hurts :P hope everything goes well with your swap, they can be a total bitch when the drive starts to fail. I bought a Seagate FreeAgent 160, works awesome for a portable drive and its pretty to boot.

What OS is going back on when you reinstall?

Hey Nick, I know I already replied to you once but this is for Sam's benefit too if he reads it.

7240x5433 is the size from the 39.3 mp camera used for the first Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York campaign. The camera was a Phase One P45 digital back, and it starts at about $29-30,000! (You can rent one from VisTek here in Calgary) If you want to see an image from that at 100% let me know.

The dimensions don't really seem too huge, but think of it this way: if you add just one px to each side to that image, you need another 12,675 pixels. So you get diminishing returns in width and height with higher and higher megapixels. Now... really good glass makes a huge difference in how crisp that image is. And it's scary how much THOSE cost. Then again, the Hubble has cost about $5 billion by now...

That camera and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/04/24/big-red-one-digicam-that-is-debuts-at-nab/" rel="nofollow">this camcorder</a> should make babies.

But seriously, how large of a resolution photo can you achieve with 39 megapixels? That seems excessive.
